Many of us find our systems are overwhelmed - too many tabs open in our brains, too little time to breathe, too many thoughts taking over. Symptoms of overwhelm include experiencing fits of anger, being impulsive, dealing with a racing mind, feeling constantly on red alert and unable to relax or concentrate.
Mindfulness is a type of meditation that guides your attention to focus on what you're sensing and feeling in the moment. It takes practice and it isn’t always easy. Adding a modern twist on traditional practices, our mindfulness classes focus on immersive experiences played out via guided imagery, storytelling and positive affirmations. Our aim is to help dial down the noise, settle the chitter-chatter, calm your central nervous system and create a whole lot more headspace to face challenges head on.

We lean on emerging science to offer leading edge practices that relax the body and mind and offer clarity so you sleep better, perform better and are more able to work through episodes in your life that make you feel stuck. We know as well as you do that spending too much time in your head - planning, problem-solving, daydreaming, or ruminating on intrusive thoughts - can be draining. Our mindfulness sessions can be likened to therapy on your mat and will help you build more resilience when dealing with stress, anxiety and low mood.
