About Alex:

Alexander practices from a place of kindness, compassion, empathy and integrity. Using the most up-to-date and evidence based approaches to psychotherapy, he will work with you to reduce and manage anxiety, be it general, performance related or linked to a very specific trigger. 

Alex uses Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to help clients who are prone to recurrent bouts of depression and high levels of stress. 

Alex likes to combine mindfulness techniques like meditation, breathing exercises and gentle movement with elements of cognitive therapy (CBT) to help break negative thought patterns and reduce stress.

Alongside Alex’s private practice he is in partnership with the NSPCC as the Official NSPCC’s Mindfulness Ambassador, providing mindfulness and wellness incentives and resources to their dedicated staff and volunteers.
